Daily Routines for you dog
It is essential that we remember that our dogs do not respond like humans (in any way). Dogs value routine above affection. If you maintain discipline and routine then your dog will be very secure and confident. Routines and discipline will position you as the pack leader. Once you have set you routines, then you can be as affectionate as you desire. Affection is of much greater value if it is expressed as reward for obedience.
Training & feeding your dog
When you feed your dog, be sure to 'give a command' before you give food. This way, the dog understands ' reward for obedient behaviour'. I always put my dogs through a brief 2-5 minute training routine (sit, stand, drop, stay, come, wait) before they receive their food.
